CONSUMER HEALTH DATA PRIVACY NOTICE

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice ("Notice") supplements our Privacy Policy and applies specifically to "consumer health data" as defined under Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's SB 370, and similar laws. It describes the limited health-related information Macrovore LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. If any term here conflicts with our general Privacy Policy with respect to consumer health data, this Notice controls.

What consumer health data we collect

The only consumer health data we collect is a self-reported wellness goal that you voluntarily choose to share with us after joining our email waitlist. When prompted, you may optionally select one of the following goals:

Providing a goal is entirely optional. You can skip the prompt, and you can join and remain on our waitlist without selecting any goal. We do not collect any other health data. We do not collect diagnoses, medical records, biometric data, precise location, or information about health conditions, treatments, or medications.

How we collect it

We collect this information directly from you, and only from you, when you affirmatively select a goal in the prompt shown after you submit your email address. We do not infer it, purchase it, or obtain it from third parties.

Why we collect it

We use your selected goal for a single purpose: to tailor the email updates we send you so the content is more relevant to your interests. We do not use it for any other purpose.

Who we share it with

We store your selected goal on your profile with our email service provider, Klaviyo, which processes it on our behalf under a written contract solely to deliver our emails. Klaviyo is a service provider and is not permitted to use your information for its own purposes.

We do not sell your consumer health data, and we do not share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose it only where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Your consent

We collect your wellness goal only with your affirmative, opt-in consent. Selecting a goal in the prompt is a clear, voluntary act that signifies your consent to our collection and use of that goal as described in this Notice. We ask for this consent separately from any other terms, and we do not require it as a condition of joining our waitlist.

Withdrawing consent and your rights

You may withdraw your consent and ask us to delete your consumer health data at any time. Depending on where you live, you also have the right to confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data, to access it, and to have it deleted. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@macrovore.com. We will honor valid requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Children

We do not knowingly collect consumer health data from anyone under 18 years of age.
